Christian Care Communities Moves Toward “New Normal” with Updated Visitation Policy
In an abundance of caution, the new indoor visitation and reopening policy will take effect when a community has been without active COVID-19 cases for 14 days. If a resident or employee tests positive, all visitation, group activities, and communal dining with reset for 14 days. Once the community is clear for the 14 days then the community may reopen.
General Indoor Visitation Policy
For a resident to host a visitor, the resident must have completed an FDA-approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccination; must not be in isolation for current COVID-19 infection; must not be in quarantine after exposure to a case of COVID-19; and must not exhibit any symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
Visitors must be age 18+ and provide documentation of completing an FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccination or receiving a negative COVID-19 test result (PCR or antigen) within 3 days of the visit. Each visitor will be required to complete a Visitor Screening and Attestation Form that will be kept on file.
Visitors must schedule a visit with the local community during limited hours. Visitors must wear a mask, observe social-distancing, and practice frequent handwashing.
Group Activities & Communal Dining
Group activities at a community may resume with restrictions. Participating residents must have completed an FDA-approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccination; must not be in isolation for current COVID-19 infection; must not be in quarantine after exposure to a case of COVID-19; and must not exhibit any symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
Group activities must not exceed 8 pre-screened residents who will be socially distanced and wash hands before and after the activity.
